great 2017 + heading into 2018

hello all!

we had a truly wonderful 2017, working with so many friends old and new. we put out 11 (eleven!) new records this year, and had a lot of fun doing it. In case you missed any:

Double Grave -- New Year's Daydream
Spew -- Only the Worst
Mothpuppy -- Cool & Pretty
Bucket -- Bouquet
Trophy Dad -- Dogman
Tundrastomper -- O
Keeper -- In Salting
Big Fred -- Oh Hi Hello
Full Body -- Whats Good?
Lady Parts -- Shrill
AllegrA -- AllegrA

we couldnt be luckier to get to work with all of these phenomenal folks.

we'd also like to put out a huge thanks to Dan at Post-Trash, Tom at Goldflakepaint, Lauren at The Grey Estates, Leah at the FADER, James at Stereogum, Abbie at Le Sigh, and everyone else who took the time to write about our records, or assign them to be written about. its truly moving that people would use their words to talk about records that we love so much, and that I know these artists put their creative self behind.

we're very excited for 2018, and have two super special releases planned right off the bat. we'll be premiering those shortly.

see u soon

AllegrA shares first single + video "i'm an introvert" via Stereogum

"i'm an introvert" is the first single off of AllegrA's fantastic upcoming self-titled full length, due out November 10th, 2017. AllegrA is a phenomenal record full of catchy songs that give a window into the mind of Allegra Eidinger -- these are paeans to the tribulations of growth and fundamental experience. Of "i'm an introvert" James Rettig says:

"lead single “I’m An Introvert” is needling and warm, pulsing with the pressure-around-the-eyes feeling you get when your mind won’t let itself clear and interact with whoever’s standing right in front of you. It’s about being forced to make small talk at a party, where conversations can often slip from the banal to the existential due to lack of common ground."
